Samsung hat in den ersten 100 Tagen, in denen das Galaxy S3 auf dem Markt ist, über 20 Millionen Geräte verkauft, meldet der koreanische NewsWire. Die 20 Millionen Geräte teilen sich wie folgt auf die verschiedenen Regionen auf: Europa 6 Millionen, Asien (ohne Korea) 4,5 Millionen, Nordamerika 4 Millionen, Korea 2,5 Millionen und weitere 3 Millionen im Rest der Welt.

Der US-amerikanische IT-Konzern Apple will auch den Verkauf von Samsungs Galaxy Tab 10.1N in der EU verhindern. Er hat beim Landgericht Düsseldorf dafür eine Einstweilige Verfügung beantragt, berichtet der Wirtschaftsdienst Dow Jones Newswire. Das Gericht habe den Termin für die Anhörung darüber auf den 22. Dezember gesetzt. Von Apple und vom Landgericht Düsseldorf war dafür noch keine Bestätigung zu erhalten.
