Developers have submitted more than 50,000 apps to the Windows Phone Marketplace, according to Windows Phone app tracking site All About Windows Phone.
It took 40 days to for developers to submit the most recent 10,000 apps, and more than a year for them to submit the first 40,000, according to the site. Slightly less than 6,000 apps were removed from the store since its inception.
