In einer Pressemitteilung hat HTC heute bekanntgegeben, dass man mindestens für die kommenden drei Jahre als Sponsor der UEFA Champions League und der UEFA Europa League in Erscheinung treten wird. Der Vertrag läuft ab Januar 2013. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass es zukünftig spezielle Editionen von HTC Smartphones wie dem HTC One X+ oder dem HTC One XL geben wird. Im Mai und Juni letzten Jahres hatte HTC zwei lang angekündigte Smartphones herausgebracht, die eine kleine Besonderheit gegenüber allen anderen Smartphones damals hatten: Einen Facebook-Button.
